Want to Get Nail Envy?

Manicured nails are SO beautiful to me. Personally, I love when my nails are done but I am always soo busy, the chances of them drying properly are like minus zero. I am a little impatient to do them myself, so I normally just have Shellac/Jessica nails for special events!

BUT if I am feeling inspired to do them at home, I always go for China Glaze polishes.

Before I’d even heard of the brand, I had a neon pink China Glaze manicure at a salon a couple of years ago & became obsessed to find the exact same polish (as I actually forgot to even ask the name of the colour!).

It was a beautiful barbie-pink colour that was SO bright- it literally looks like it glows in the dark! I had never seen such a gorgeous pigment!

Ever since I found it (yay!) and discovered the brand, I have tried soo many other shades and shortlisted my top 3 for you.

I like to mix things up a little & sometimes wear bright nails in winter to brighten up the grey London weather, and darker tones in summer.

So its time for me to brighten up for Autumn!

I’ll be honest and won’t say that the range is “7 days chip-proof” and all of those magical claims, BUT I can tell you that they dry SUPER-fast, are really pigmented and the shade range is insane! They are cheaper than OPI and Essie and the colours excite me MUCH more. If your ready for some serious compliments I would try China Glaze! I had countless people ask me what shade I was wearing with these.

Trend Alert! Copper Tones for Autumn!

Let’s be real. As much as I am obsesseddd with fashion week and checking out the latest beauty innovations, some seasons the make up looks are totally out-there, and not wearable for most of us on a daily basis.

This season was a total exception! There were soo many lust-worthy beauty looks that I had to share them!

The one that took my breath away the most was Orange Earthy Eye Shadows. Now before you think that’s totally weird, I am talking really GORGEOUS coppery/gold tones, as opposed to fanta-orange 🙂

This was huge on the Gucci runways and it can be SUPER flattering for almost every skin tone. If you are really fair, you have to be a little careful that the shade you go for isn’t too pigmented, otherwise you can end up looking really tired! For fair skin, I would recommend a cream shadow that is slightly more golden and sheer.

It’s all about enhancing what you have and the right copper will make your eye colour pop! It isn’t as harsh as darker browns, blacks, and navys so it can be worn both daytime and for going out. The whites of your eyes will look incredibly bright and personally, I think this looks best worn with a nude lip.

My FAVORITE adaptation of this would be to create a copper smokey-eye look. It looks so-chic and expensive! I have been playing around with different looks all week!

There are so many high-end and drugstore brands that offer such pretty coppers, it’s definitely worth adding to your makeup collection.

My favourite copper right now is “sizzling copper” from Estée Lauder. This looks amazing on light-medium and darker skin-tones. If you are very fair, I would recommend the L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Amber Rush.

I have seen many beautiful ones from the Bobbi Brown Metallic Long-Wear Cream Shadow collection, so it’s worth looking around for a perfect match!
